A clay target club with room to grow into

PECTC is an outdoor clay shooting club just outside Gqeberha, registered with the Clay Target Shooting Association of South Africa and open to newcomers and competitors alike.

The club runs 15 outdoor ranges on Draaifontein Road: four trap ranges, one trench range, two skeet ranges and eight sporting ranges. That is an unusual amount of ground for a South African club, and it means a busy club day never feels crowded.

PECTC is one of five CTSASA-registered clubs in the Eastern Cape, alongside Eden Clay Target Shooting Academy in Plettenberg Bay, Graaff Reinet Gun Club, Lilyfountain Gun Club in Queenstown and Winterberg Sport Shooting Association near Adelaide.

The club hosted the national Chairman's Cup in 2016 and continues to host the Eastern Cape provincial championships, including the 2025 Standard Championships and the 2026 FITASC Sporting Championship.

Alongside competition, the club runs private and corporate shoots under experienced range officers, and offers membership to anyone who wants to shoot regularly.
