Skeet

Skeet is shot on a semicircle of eight stations between a high house and a low house. The two machines throw crossing targets on a fixed, known path, singly and in pairs.

Why people shoot it

Because every target flies the same line every time, skeet is the discipline that teaches you to read lead properly. Progress is measurable in a way trap rarely is.

The detail

  • Two skeet ranges on site.
  • Twenty-five targets to a round, including doubles.
  • The discipline most shooters use to groom a consistent swing.
