8 ranges on site
Sporting
Sporting is the most varied clay discipline. Each stand presents a different simulated quarry — a high driven bird, a rabbit bouncing along the ground, a long crosser, a teal climbing vertically — and no two stands ask the same question.

Why people shoot it
It is the discipline groups enjoy most, because nobody stays good at it for long and the layout changes. Eight sporting ranges is an unusually large number for a South African club.
The detail
- Eight sporting ranges on site.
- Layouts are changed regularly, so the course rarely repeats.
- Shot in pairs and singles across a walked course.
